Elgg Social Network - anyone tried it? - 24HourForum

I've been looking for a free Social Network script for a client of mine, and today I came accross Elgg.org.

Funnily enough, they released a brand new version of their script yesterday so I downloaded it and installed it and have never had such a headache in my life!

It won't let me change the theme, and the CSS doesn't work correctly in IE7. I surfed the internet for help for a good while but found nothing on how to change the themes etc.

So now, after finding the previous version (0.9.1) I'm installing that to see if that's any easier.

Has anyone ever used this before? Had good/bad experiences with it?
